Pact Clothing Review: What to Know Before You Buy
Curious about Pact organic clothing?
I bought several of their most popular items and am reviewing them for you!
Over the last couple of years, I have started being a lot more intentional about my closet. I want clothes that are comfortable, flattering, and support my holistic health. This means I have been opting for fewer items, but higher- quality.
If you’ve been trying to clean up your closet—swapping out synthetic fabrics and questionable materials for something more aligned with a non-toxic lifestyle—you’ve probably come across Pact.
This Pact clothing review is a deep dive into my genuine experience with the brand, from product quality to customer service, and whether it actually lives up to its reputation for sustainability and high quality.
For transparency's sake, everything reviewed I have purchased with my own money!
TLDR: Kaelyn’s Quick Review
Overall, I was really impressed! I ordered a dress, a workout set, underwear, and a gauze two-piece set. While I did return the gauze set due to sizing, I had zero issues with the return process. That said, the rest of my order fit pretty true to size!
About Pact: A Sustainable Clothing Brand

From browsing the Pact website, it’s clear they aim to be a great place for everything from organic cotton basics to home and bath items

Lounge and sleepwear
Even home goods like sheets and quilts
Why I Started Prioritizing Natural Fibers
Over the last couple of years, I’ve been making a conscious shift away from fast fashion and toward healthier, higher-quality items. I have specifically focused on incorporating more organic clothing, especially pieces made with certified organic cotton. The reality is, the modern clothing industry relies heavily on synthetic fibers and toxic chemicals, including toxic dyes, that can sit against your skin all day long. I've seen it firsthand irritate my own skin, as well as my kiddo's, who struggle with eczema.
Natural fibers, on the other hand, offer some pretty compelling benefits that are worth considering:
Breathability: Organic cotton clothes allow your skin to breathe, which is especially important for things like organic cotton underwear and loungewear.
Lower toxin exposure: Fewer chemicals used in the manufacturing of their product means less burden on your body. (Just think-- our skin is our LARGEST organ, and all the things it comes in contact with are absorbed internally)
Sustainability: fast fashion really is not doing anyone any favors, especially not our environment.
For me, it wasn’t just about aesthetics, but about building a wardrobe of healthier alternatives that feel better and align with my values. I would rather have fewer things, but of higher quality.
What I Ordered + My Review
I have ordered from Pact several times within the past couple of years. This summer, I was looking to round out my warm-weather capsule wardrobe with a couple of versatile pieces. They were having their spring sale, so it was a great time to order a few things at a discount.
Here’s what I picked up (I ordered everything in a size medium-- according to their size guide, that's the equivalent to a size 8-10 US. Which is pretty true to size for me.)
Organic on the go core set: this includes both the leggings and the on the go square neck tank and on the go high waist leggings
A pair of leggings size M -- this is my second pair of Pact high waist leggings! I love the cotton material, the fit and how high-quality they feel. While they aren't my top choice for working out (especially high-intensity workouts), I love them for lounging and casual outfits.
on the go square neck tank-- I love love love when I don't have to wear a bra. And this tank does the trick (mostly)! It's double-lined and snug-fitting, without being tight. I have not worn a standard underwire bra in literal YEARS, so could not even tell you my bra size for reference, but I usually wear a medium or large top. This fit really comfortably, and I love the cropped length. I'm pretty tall (5'10) and appreciate that it wasn't too cropped.
Organic coastal double gauze set in cream- size M -- Okay, I was honestly so bummed about this one! It just did not work for me personally. The top was oversized and airy, which I love, but it was a bit too oversized and boxy for what I wanted. And then the shorts were quite see-through. They are thick enough that I think they would be fine in one of their darker colors, but white was a no-go for me. I ended up returning the set. If I were to re-order it, I think I would opt for a size small top, a size large for the shorts to size up a bit (maybe making them a little less see-through), and then order in a darker color as well!
organic coastal double gauze beach to brunch dress- I am not typically drawn to red clothes, but i saw this color, and it was absolutely STUNNING. It's kind of like a punch color, and not a true red, if that makes sense 😅 When I first put it on, my husband immediately said it was one of his favorite dresses on me. Both the color and fit were super flattering.
Not to mention, it is so comfortable. The tie in the back could easily make it a little more fitted in the waist, or it could also be the most stunning bump-friendly dress, given how flowy it is. It is SUCH a win, and I wore it at least a dozen times this past summer.
Organic everyday classic fit thong 5-pack - classic low-rise fit and neutral colors! These are a great, organic underwear option!
Everything arrived within a couple days, and I qualified for free shipping, which was a nice bonus.

Fit & Sizing: What to Expect
Sizing is one area where I have a little bit of mixed feedback.
Overall, most items were a really good fit
The leggings were true to my normal size
Tops in a size medium gave me that comfortable, relaxed fit that I prefer
That said, I have heard people complain about inconsistent sizing.. but I think this is true with any online shop and your personal fit preference, or if you’re between sizes or have a larger bust or bigger waist.
Personally, I had a great and very easy return process (which I talk about in more detail below), so I wouldn't be concerned if you needed to exchange for another size!

Product Quality vs Price Tag
Quality is where Pact really shines. After months of normal wear, I can confidently say the product quality holds up. The fabric remains soft, and I haven’t noticed significant pilling or breakdown.
Pact sits in that mid-range price point—not as cheap as fast fashion, but not luxury either. But considering the high-quality materials and products, their emphasis on ethical production, and the longevity of the pieces... I personally think it is worth it!
One of my personal closet goals is to have more of a "capsule wardrobe", full of fewer, intentionally chosen and quality items that I love. Rather than a closet full of things that I feel meh about.
Sustainability & Ethical Practices
Pact’s commitment to sustainability is one of the main reasons I continue to make Pact purchases.
Key highlights:
Uses certified organic cotton
Fair Trade Certified
Focuses on reducing water consumption
Avoids harmful toxic chemicals
Compared to fast fashion, where the priority is speed and cost, Pact feels like a much more intentional option. As I get older, I feel more convicted about supporting businesses that are producing goods ethically.
Returns + Customer Service Experience
When I went to return a couple of Pact products from my order (the organic gauze vacay set, which includes a collared button-up short-sleeve shirt and a pair of shorts), I had no issue. They even have a QR code on the inside of your delivery box that leads you directly to a page where you can navigate returns and exchanges. That was the first time I've seen that and I thought it was a really smart feature.
Pact does their returns through "Happy Returns"-- which, if you are not familiar, allows you to go to a local partner (sometimes a USPS or store) and drop off your items to return. It makes returns a bit more convenient and affordable, since you don't have to pay to ship the item back. Then you can opt for either a store credit or refund.
From the time I dropped off the clothing, I had my refund within a day or two.
Who Pact Is Best For
Pact is a great fit if you:
Want to reduce exposure to toxic dyes and synthetic materials
Are building a wardrobe of organic cotton clothes and appreciate brands that prioritize the global organic textile standard (GOTS)
Value sustainability and fair trade standards
Prefer timeless, comfortable organic cotton basics -- you are not going to find as many super trendy things, and instead more timeless, classic options. Which again, is my goal for clothing!
It may not be ideal if you:
Want ultra-trendy pieces
Need highly structured or tailored fits
prefer affordability over longevity
